Philosophy

Vincent Pictures is a film production and financing company with a thirty-year track record. Founded by Peter Douglas in 1978, Vincent has produced a diverse slate of popular, award-winning motion pictures and television films, from The Final Countdown (1980) to Whip It! (2009).

Since moving offices to Montecito in 2007, our focus has been acquiring rights to high-concept, franchise film properties.  These include best-selling books and classic motion pictures of proven commercial value suited to contemporary re-makes using today’s technology.

Recognizing that entertainment is, now more than ever, a collaborative business, we are open to partnerships with other established filmmakers able to contribute to these projects’ creative and commercial viability. Vincent Pictures has and will continue to build a quality brand alongside colleagues whose vision we share.
